Privacy Policy

How 7v7 Online handles your information, on the website (7v7.online) and in the 7v7 Online app for iPhone and Android.

What we collect

• Playing on the web without an account: your game, names and settings are kept in your own browser (local storage) so you can continue where you left. We do not see them.
• Online rooms: a room code, the team names you type and the game state are stored on our server while the room is in use.
• If you create an account (web or app, it is the same account): a username, a password and the answer to a security question (both stored only in scrambled form), your match results, runs, unlocked cards, your avatar, your friends list, and your game data (club, squad, lineups, rank, messages). We never ask for your email, name, phone number or any payment details.
• Staying signed in: on the web, a sign-in cookie. In the app, a sign-in token kept in your phone's secure storage (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android). We keep only a one-way scrambled form of it on our server, for 30 days.
• Notifications: news inside the game (friend requests, transfer offers, results) is stored on our server for up to 30 days.
• Push notifications (app, only if you turn on reminders and allow notifications): your phone's push token, for up to 5 devices. We use it to alert you to news such as a friend request or a transfer offer. The alert is sent through Expo's push notification service (Expo, who receive the token and a short generic message such as "You have a new message"). Reminders before the Super League lineup lock and the daily auction are scheduled on your phone and are not sent to us. You can stop push alerts by turning reminders off in Profile, signing out, or deleting your account.
• Visits and time: we count when a signed-in account opens the game and how long it is active, stored under a one-way scrambled id, to see how many people play and for how long.
• Invite links: if you open a friend's invite link, the friend's username is kept until you sign up. To stop people from earning invite rewards with their own extra accounts, we keep a one-way scrambled form (a hash) of the internet address used to sign up, sign in and play. It cannot be turned back into the address. We keep it for about a year.
• How you found us: the first time you open the site, we note the kind of place you came from (for example a friend's link, Instagram, a Google search, another website's name, or none) and, if the link had one, a campaign tag. This is kept in your browser and, if you sign up, with your account. We do not keep the full web address you came from.

What the app does not do

• No ads, no advertising ID and no tracking across other apps or websites.
• No analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no Meta Pixel or Google Analytics, inside the app.
• No access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or health data. No in-app purchases or payments.

Cookies and similar technologies (website only)

• Essential: a sign-in cookie if you have an account, and local storage for your game progress and preferences.
• Advertising measurement: on the website we use the Meta Pixel to measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform, for example by counting visits and key actions such as starting a draft or finishing a match. Meta may set cookies and receive technical data such as your browser and approximate location. We do not send your name, email or room codes to Meta. For signed-in players, a confirmed match result is also reported from our server together with a one-way hash of your account name, which Meta cannot read as a name. You can control ad settings in your Meta account and with your browser's cookie settings.
• Site analytics: on the website we use Google Analytics to count visits and key actions, such as starting a game, finishing a draft or finishing a match, and the game type. Google may set cookies and receive technical data such as your browser and approximate location. We turn off Google's advertising features and do not send your name, email, username or room codes. You can opt out with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out add-on.

Who processes the data

The game runs on Vercel and stores account and room data with a database provider. In the app, Expo's push notification service delivers push alerts. These services process data on our behalf to run the game. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

• Rooms are temporary. In-game notifications: up to 30 days. Sign-in sessions: 30 days.
• Push tokens: until you turn reminders off, sign out, or delete your account (or your phone tells us the app was removed).
• Account data: until you delete your account. Scrambled address codes: about a year. Local data stays in your browser or phone until you clear it.

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile → Delete account, then enter your password. Or email us at the address below from the account's contact details. What happens:

• Right away: you are signed out on every device, the account is hidden from leaderboards, the Clubs list and the transfer market, and your notifications and push tokens are removed.
• You have 30 days to change your mind: signing in again during that time cancels the deletion.
• After 30 days everything is deleted for good: your username (it becomes free again), password, security answer, profile, friends, club, squad and game data.
• Matches you still had to play when you deleted count as 3-0 wins for your opponents, and a Challenge Me series still running counts as a win for the other club. Results already played in other players' tables or histories may still show your username as plain text.

Your choices

You can play on the web without an account, clear your browser or phone data at any time, block cookies in your browser, turn off reminders and push alerts, and delete your account.

Children

The game is for a general audience but is not designed to collect personal data from children. Please do not use a real name as your username.
